Course Duration: 10 weeks (200 hours) / Class Schedule: Monday to Friday / Class Hours: 4 hours daily (09:30 to 12:50)

Cultural experiential program is conducted for 4 to 8 hours per session and will be counted towards attendance. (Cultural experience day will be announced at the start of the semester)

The above-listed documents for submission is the standard requirement. Documents to be submitted may vary for different countries.

Additional documents may be requested during the screening process. Submitted documents will not be returned.

Documents in languages other than Korean or English should be translated and notarized.

Applicants (from China) are required to submit original copies of their graduation certificate and family household register. If all family members are not registered under a single family register, proof of family relation (notarized) must be submitted separately.

Payment of tuition fees

Once you have submitted your admission documents, you will be required to deposit your tuition and other fees into your virtual account issued by the institution.

The amount and method of payment will be given upon the applicants successful admittance.

You must make a deposit under your name within the period of time given. The registration fee must be converted and exchanged into KRW (Korean Currency).

We can not be held liable for the refund of the deposit fee if the visa is denied. Applicants will be liable for the fees upon denial of visa.

Other Fees

- Foreigner registration fee: KRW 30,000

Other fees except tuition may be paid in cash after entering Korea.

Other Information

International Student Insurance

We recommend you apply for international student insurance in your home country before entering Korea. Students who have not applied for international student insurance in their home country must apply for it after entering Korea.

  • - Annual insurance premium is approximately KRW 200,000 (depending on the type of insurance product)
  • - You may be entitled to healthcare benefits according to the terms and conditions of the insurance company during the policy period.
  • - Does not apply to chronic conditions or severe illness, etc.

Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Academic Scholarship

- Selection among students with a grade A (90 points) or higher for all subjects and a 90% or higher attendance rate (300,000 won / semester)

Other Scholarships

- Scholarship for excellence in learning: selection among students who have shown outstanding performance in supplementary learning activities and project work (a few beneficiaries each semester)

- Merit Scholarship: selection among students who have contributed to the development of K-WAVE Korean Language Education Center, and students who have won awards at external competitions or events (a few beneficiaries each semester)

Scholarship payments may vary according to the number of student beneficiaries and the school's state of affairs.

Cultural Experiential Program

A Korean culture experience program will be held once or twice every semester (various cultural experiential learning activities such as visits to the Korean Folk Village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, amusement park, as well as K-wave related performances and events)

Remittance fee will be borne by students and admission fee is non-refundable

Refunds are only possible with the submission of supporting documents such as the refund application form, original admission letter, statement of reasons for visa rejection, certificate of acceptance, and certificate of expected enrollment, etc. (Download the refund application form)

Tuition fee will not be refunded if the use of forged or counterfeit documents for submission is discovered during the screening of documents.
